Availability for September 2024:
I have been hosting international students since 1997. I enjoy the comradery of knowing many cultures and making life long friends.
We have one very friendly Labrador retriever. There are no children in the home. We are retired and pretty laid back. We have no "rules" other than we ask that you keep your room tidy, free of food and clean up after yourself in the kitchen.
No overnight guests - the rooms are for ONE person only.
We do NOT offer:
(1.) A meal plan or (2.) Airport pickup. There are taxi's at the airport or if you have UBER you can easily access their service.
We DO offer laundry facilities in the house that you are welcome to use (one time per week and completed before 10 pm).
NOTE: The price of utilities in Alberta have skyrocketed and as such we ask that you be respectful of that and NOT take excessively long showers and keep the lights on all night. NOTE FURTHER:
It is important to note that this is neither a hotel nor a youth hostel. While we have no "rules" we do require that you respect the home and the people in it.
