Varsity is a popular residential neighborhood located in the northwest quadrant of Calgary, Alberta.

Located an 8-minute walk from Dalhousie Station, with Walmart (Canada's largest hypermarket), Canadian Tire (department store), Co-op Mall (Canadian supermarket), Best Buy (Canada's largest electronics store), etc. within a 10-minute walk, and a Korean grocery store and Korean butcher within a 15-minute walk.

Dining ($400 CAD per month)
Hygienically prepared by a chef who has been cooking professionally for about 10 years.
A total of 2 meals per day are provided: morning (1 main dish) and afternoon (1 main dish, 3 side dishes).
Only available during the week (Monday through Friday).
Weekend side dishes are available upon request.
If you have a specialty food, we can provide it.

Other offerings

Welcome Package: We'll provide you with a welcome package that includes airport pickup, maps, a local guide, a list of important contacts (nearby hospitals, police stations, etc.), and recommendations for restaurants, shops, and attractions.

Local orientation: We'll give you a quick orientation to the area. This can include showing you where the nearest grocery store is, where to open a bank account, where to get a SIN, where to get a health care card, where to find pharmacies, public transportation links, and other essential services.

Transportation assistance: Provide information on how to navigate the local transportation system. This can include providing public transportation maps, explaining how to buy tickets, and giving tips on the best routes to popular destinations.

Language support: If your guests aren't fluent in English or French, you can provide language support in simple ways like providing a list of common phrases in the language or recommending local language classes or tutors.


Cultural integration: Help guests understand Canadian culture and social norms. This can include explanations of tipping etiquette, weather-appropriate clothing, and local customs.


Networking opportunities: We'll introduce you to community groups, clubs, or social events where you can meet new people and make friends. This is especially useful for longer stays.


Emergency information: We'll tell you what to do in an emergency, including how to contact emergency services in Canada, and help you respond.


Legal and administrative guidance: Provide guidance on any legal or administrative tasks your child may need to complete, such as applying for a social insurance number, opening a bank account, or understanding local laws.


Healthcare information: Provides information about how the healthcare system works in Canada, including how to access healthcare and get health insurance if needed.


Feedback and support: You can check out our Instagram to see what food is being served at Neo's Homestay. You can also provide us with your allergies and we will provide you with meals that exclude those ingredients.


Contract: Deposit of $400 and completed contract by 1 month of stay.
