Homestay in Calgary, Canada
I have been hosting international students since 1997. I enjoy the comradery of knowing many cultures and making life long friends. Our house is very easy going and all we ask is you participate in the family and not "hide out", clean up after yourself and enjoy your life in Canada.
We have one very friendly labrador retriever. Our children are long gone from our home and here are only myself and my husband.
Canada has become excessively expensive - as such we do NOT offer:
1. A meal plan ;.
2. Airport pickup. There are taxi's at the airport or if you have UBER you can easily access their service.
We DO offer:
1. laundry facilities in the house you are welcome to use (one time per week and before 10pm to be complete). NOTE: The price of utilities in Alberta have skyrocketed and as such we ask that you be respectful of that and NOT take excessively long showers and keep the lights on all night. NOTE FURTHER: No overnight guests - the rooms are for ONE person only.
It is important to note that this is neither a hotel nor a youth hostel. While we have no "rules" we do require that you respect the home and the people in it.
